This is the historic Baltic Fleet, an elderly lady of the city and reportedly the only remaining 'flat iron' pub still active on the Dock Road. The term 'flat iron' was derived from the buildings shape.
What might not be so obvious to passers by is that In an ode to the micro brewery, Stan, the colourful engineer turned brewer whose passion it is to keep traditional brewing alive, works beneath street level two days a week where beer is brewed in the cellar. This is currently the only brew pub in Liverpool and people come from far and near to sample the produce.
