Constructed 1776, like all the original bridges on the canal it is a single arch bridge built of brick that straddles both the canal and the towpath. It is one of only five original brick bridges on the canal in Halton to still support single-lane traffic. At some point the arch has had to be strengthened and now has a concrete surface on the underside of the bridge. This is likely due to the consistent flow of vehicle traffic due to providing an alternate back-route to the A558, as well as connecting Sandymoore & Moore to Daresbury Laboratory. It does not appear to be listed. GPS Coordinates: 53.345183, -2.640767
