The third chapel in the area sits within a once bustling mining community that has fallen almost completely silent since the lead mines closed in the late 19th century. With few signs of modern civilisation to be found, the area now bares more resemblance to simpler times during the 1600's when a band of outlaws known as Cochion Cywarch (The Reds of Cywarch) ruled these parts.
