In the living quarters of the hall, a brilliant side stair case leads to a lone circular window which projects a thin beam of light down the walls. I couldn't get enough of this part. Nowadays people would frown upon such blatant disregard for natural light but there's something super satisfying about a circular room like this. In the alcoves to the side, greek marble statues once stood, greeting people as they walked.
