The firm’s proprietor and chief Sean Murray lives on the south coast, has a luxurious yacht and a fleet of high-performance cars, and travelled in a private jet, with most of these listed as firm property. Perhaps inspired by the efforts of Dickenport, Murray was one step ahead in the sense that he actually ended up with the money, yet he was simply the next waste of oxygen to see pound signs coming out of Windlestone’s broken windows. His company emerged as a complex web of interconnected businesses, put together to deceive the wealthy into making himself even more rich. Unsurprisingly Carlauren collapsed into administration shortly before Christmas 2019 with administrators appointed to salvage what they could from the wreckage. Elderly residents in the few care homes that were built were forced to look for alternative accommodation and nurses were made redundant. To be honest, this guy actually makes me think that Dickenport is a pretty sound bloke in comparison.
